Halff Associates Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Manager for Water and Wastewater Utilities to join our team in The Woodlands, TX. This role is pivotal in managing and overseeing various water and wastewater utility projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, particularly in the water and wastewater sector, and will be responsible for leading project teams, managing client relationships, and providing technical guidance to support staff. The Senior Project Manager will be involved in all phases of project development, from initial planning and design through to implementation and completion. This includes pipeline and facility design, project planning, and modeling. The successful candidate will leverage their extensive experience to navigate complex project requirements and deliver innovative solutions that meet the needs of our clients and the communities we serve. In addition to technical expertise, the role requires strong leadership skills, as the Senior Project Manager will be responsible for mentoring junior staff and fostering a collaborative team environment. Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee water and wastewater utility projects from planning through implementation.
- Lead project teams and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Develop and maintain client relationships to ensure satisfaction and project success.
- Provide technical guidance and support to project staff and junior engineers.
- Conduct project planning, design, and modeling for pipeline and facility projects.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Mentor and train junior staff members in project management and technical skills.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering.
- 15+ years of experience in Water/Wastewater Utility projects including pipeline and facility design.
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE), preferably in Texas or able to obtain within 6 months.
- Experience with water/wastewater treatment is a plus.
- Proficiency in MicroStation, AutoCAD, ArcGIS, WaterCAD, and SewerCAD.
