About The Position

The Senior Project Manager will lead end-to-end delivery of regulatory and strategic initiatives impacting US tax operational processes. This role involves managing the full project lifecycle, from planning to execution and delivery, and coordinating efforts across IT, Operations, Compliance, and US Corporate Tax/Finance teams. The position requires conducting impact assessments, translating regulatory requirements into functional specifications, and ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and data strategies. Key responsibilities include defining and monitoring delivery milestones, risks, and dependencies, as well as leading change management activities such as communication, training, and adoption.

Requirements

  • Experience in Financial Services (CIB / Banking environment)
  • Strong Project Management and Change Management expertise
  • Proven experience delivering regulatory or transformation programs
  • Solid understanding of US tax frameworks: IRC Chapter 3 (NRA withholding), IRC Chapter 4 (FATCA), Treaty rate determination, 1042 / 1042-S and 1099 reporting processes
  • Hands-on experience with US withholding tax operations
  • Ability to translate regulatory requirements into operational and system solutions
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Experience with complex systems, data flows, and operational processes
  • Leadership experience in cross-functional environments
  • Experience reviewing or transforming end-to-end tax operating models
  • Strong consulting and diagnostic capabilities: Conduct structured operational reviews, Perform stakeholder interviews and facilitate workshops, Present findings to senior management
