About the position

The Senior Project Manager for Major Design Build Projects (Highways/Bridges) at AtkinsRéalis is responsible for overseeing and managing complex infrastructure projects across the United States. This role requires significant experience in the Design Build/PPP/Progressive Design Build space, focusing on highway and bridge projects. The Senior Project Manager will coordinate with contractors and regulatory agencies, ensuring project delivery excellence while mentoring junior staff and managing financial aspects of projects.

Responsibilities

  • Manage highway and bridge projects on various infrastructure transportation projects nationally.
  • Coordinate production, planning, organizing, directing, controlling, and financial management of projects.
  • Mentor and assist in the training and development of technical professionals.
  • Participate in contract negotiations and draft complex professional service agreements.
  • Monitor subcontractors' progress and compliance with contractual commitments.
  • Develop and manage project quality assurance and administrative procedures.
  • Identify new business opportunities and promote the firm's capabilities to clients.
  • Supervise other project managers and technical professionals, managing project workload and manpower forecasting.
  • Conduct project management training workshops for associate project managers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field; graduate degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience, with at least 10 years in a management position within design build.
  • Professional Registration in relevant field required; PMP or CCM certification required within one year.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, public speaking, and persuasive ability.
  • Proven project financial management and team management skills.
