About the position

F.A. Wilhelm Construction is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the Project Team in all aspects of the build, ensuring the project is completed on time, under budget, and with quality that exceeds expectations. This role requires the ability to manage multiple fast-paced projects concurrently and to review and understand project documents including plans and specifications. The Senior Project Manager will also create and assist in the development of estimates, change orders, and project proposals, manage costs, schedules, changes, meetings, invoices, and owner expectations, and lead project meetings with owners and sub-contractors. The position involves working closely with superintendents and managing project engineers for meetings, permits, RFIs, submittals, and closeouts.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a vital team member managing the Project Team in all aspects of the build.
• Manage multiple fast-paced projects concurrently.
• Review and understand project documents including plans and specifications.
• Create and/or assist in the development of estimates, change orders, and project proposals.
• Manage costs, schedule, changes, meetings, invoices, and owner expectations.
• Lead project meetings with owners and sub-contractors.
• Work with superintendents.
• Manage project engineers for meetings, permits, RFIs, submittals, and closeouts.

Requirements

• Experience in Concrete, Industrial, Manufacturing, and/or Pharmaceutical industries.
• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Construction Science, or related field.
• 10 - 15+ years relevant work experience in the construction industry.
• OSHA 30 Certification.
