About the position

AECOM is seeking a Senior Project Manager/Client Account Manager focused on managing a portfolio of transportation projects for NJ clients, including NJDOT and NJ Counties. This role involves business development, client management, and leading project teams to ensure successful project delivery while growing AECOM's market share in the transportation sector.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Client Account Manager for major clients in NJ
• Join the Leadership team to develop and capture growth strategies and increase market share for key accounts
• Specialize in Transportation, with strong knowledge of sustainability planning, resiliency, and renewable energy
• Manage marketing and proposal preparation
• Manage team of professionals and contract deliverables with minimal guidance or supervision
• Interface with clients at meetings to discuss and coordinate the project progress
• Establish scope, work plan and work schedule
• Manage and lead the overall project including technical, financial, schedule, and client satisfaction
• Assure conformance with contractual obligations by ensuring that contract documents are reviewed and approved prior to release to the client
• Train, mentor and develop staff
• Anticipate potential budget and schedule impacts and initiates plans for alternative actions
• Incorporate Innovation in design and delivery

Requirements

• BA/BS + 8 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education, including 5 years of leadership
• 12 years of experience preferred
• Client Account Manager experience
• Willing to support other business lines: Environment, Energy, Architecture, Water
• Specialize in Transportation, with strong knowledge of sustainability planning, resiliency, and renewable energy
