Collins Aerospace, a leader in technologically advanced, intelligent solutions, is seeking a Deputy Program Manager to support a Strategic Communications (SC) obsolescence refresh qualification program and follow-on Production procurement. This role offers an excellent opportunity for the candidate to gain significant program management experience. The position is located ONSITE in Marlborough, MA. The Senior Program Manager will lead all aspects of program cost, schedule, and technical execution to ensure predictable performance and fulfillment of contractual commitments. They will utilize Earned Value Management to monitor performance and recommend corrective actions. The role involves delivering projects on time by effectively guiding cross-matrixed teams through clear communication, empowerment, and expectation setting. The Senior Program Manager will serve as an authorized decision-maker to achieve program objectives with support from the program manager and product area director, driving day-to-day execution while aligning with strategic goals. Responsibilities include establishing and maintaining key program metrics, defining milestones and critical paths, and monitoring adherence to budgets and schedules. The role also supports the development and tracking of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and long-term financial outlook, ensuring commitment to financial goals. Collaboration across RTX organizations and subcontractors is key, ensuring consistent use of resources, tools, and processes. The position also contributes to new business capture and proposal efforts. Domestic travel for customer, company, and program activities is required (up to 10%).
