About The Position

As a Senior Production Assembler, you will assemble fabricated parts, components or units at floor stations. You will prepare parts for testing, tests and calibrate parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications. You will perform complex machine set up as well as identify units that fail tests or tolerance levels and repairs as necessary. You will be responsible for implementing approved measures to increase productivity and efficiency.

Requirements

• High school degree or equivalent required.
• 2 years required experience working within a production environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to precisely measure.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to be on your feet for extended periods.

Nice To Haves

• Associates degree preferred.
• 4 years preferred experience working within a production environment.

Responsibilities

• Assembling and calibrating fabricated parts, or units to meet product specifications.
• Identifying units that fail tests or tolerance levels and repairing them as necessary.
• Proposing measures to increase productivity and efficiency.
• Performing simple screening, bagging, boxing, or cutting operations.
• Inspecting and testing work for quality.
• Performing and logging scheduled preventative maintenance of production equipment.
• Determining sequence of operations, materials required, and procedures needed.
• Staging job materials for production according to procedure.
