About The Position
Responsible for developing, maintaining, and stabilizing the master production schedule to ensure optimal service levels, efficient capacity utilization, and alignment with customer demand. Drives end-to-end production planning across internal operations and external suppliers while balancing inventory, throughput, and operational constraints.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 3+ years in production planning or master scheduling
- ERP experience (SAP preferred)
- Strong Excel and data analysis skills
- Understanding of MPS and S&OP alignment
- Capacity planning and constraint management
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Nice To Haves
- Automotive experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage the Master Production Schedule (MPS) aligned with demand and capacity.
- Translate demand into feasible production plans while maintaining schedule stability.
- Adjust schedules based on real-time production performance and disruptions.
- Ensure adherence to planning horizons and frozen zones.
- Drive line sequencing priorities to meet customer requirements.
- Monitor KPIs such as schedule adherence, attainment, backlog, and inventory.
- Identify risks and implement proactive mitigation strategies.
- Utilize SAP, EDI, and planning tools for scheduling accuracy.
- Drive continuous improvement in scheduling processes.
