As a Senior Outpatient Therapist, you’ll play a vital role in supporting individuals and families on their journey toward emotional wellness. This role is ideal for compassionate professionals who are committed to making a positive impact in the lives of others while working in a structured, collaborative environment. Availability of 1-2 evenings a week till 6 pm.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or similar clinical discipline.
  • Must have a verified clinical practicum Or licensed (LPC, LCSW, LMFT) in the state of Pennsylvania.
  • At least 1 year of experience with either a CASSP service system, or employed by a licensed mental health services agency, or subcontracted agency, or other master’s level mental health clinicians with documents training in the field of behavioral modification techniques.
  • Actively participating in supervision toward a generally recognized clinical discipline that includes mental health clinical experience (i.e. LPC, LCSW, or LMFT).
  • Must be proficient in use of electronic health record system.
  • Must be proficient in completion of psychosocial assessments.
  • Organization and attention to detail.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.

  • If one has valid licensure in PA, as a LPC, LMFT or LCSW, rate would be more than advertised.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual and family therapy sessions tailored to each client’s needs.
  • Build meaningful therapeutic relationships that foster growth and resilience.
  • Ensure timely and accurate clinical documentation for your caseload.
  • Collaborate with a supportive team to deliver high-quality, client-centered care.
  • Provision of therapy to consumers in individually recommended setting by providing therapy in recommended setting by adhering to recommendations outlined in individual consumer treatment plans.
  • Develops individualized treatment plans by adhering to applicable county, state and federal standard regulations when developing individualized treatment plans for consumers.
  • Develops transition and discharge planning by evaluating recovery and progress through treatment goals, symptomology, and outcomes scales.
  • Participates in required meetings, evaluations, supervision and trainings by collaborating with all members of the treatment team and participating, when necessary, in all required meetings, assessments, evaluations, trainings and supervision, per agreement with supervisor.
  • Demonstrates proficiency with assessment skills by completing psychosocial assessments at intake and in ongoing intervals as outlined by program requirements; completing standardized assessments and/or outcome-based measures.
  • Evaluates individualized consumer-driven treatment plan reviews by completing on-going evaluation of efficacy of treatment evaluations, via development of treatment plan reviews.
  • Provision of treatment of the whole person by providing service in collaboration with all team members involved with the consumer, and with the understanding that treatment of the whole person is crucial.
  • Provides on-going clinical support to all members of the outpatient team by assisting in the initial training, development, and mentoring of newly hired outpatient staff; by assisting in providing outpatient staff with consultation time/CC&C services to review treatment modalities and clinical presentation of consumers.
  • Responds to emergency/crisis situations with team members and consumers by directing and assisting outpatient staff in at-risk situations such as mandated reporting, involuntary commit procedures, duty to warn, and crisis situations, as warranted.
  • Maintains assigned, planned schedule by following program guidelines to ensure regular service provision and maintenance of caseload, per agreement with program supervisor.
  • Maintains a commitment to professional development by participating in on-going supervision, training, and department and team meetings, as outlined by policies and procedures.
  • Adheres to professional and ethical interaction policies and procedures by interacting professionally, ethically, and respectfully with consumers, other team members – including family members, and co-workers, at all times; following policy and procedure and maintaining appropriate professional boundaries.
  • Supports on-going and future business needs by completing other duties, as assigned, to effectively support business priorities and processes.
  • Provides on-going clinical support to all members of the outpatient team.
  • Assures the completion of supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws, training, development, and mentoring of newly hired outpatient staff; by assisting in providing outpatient staff with consultation time/CC&C services to review treatment modalities and clinical presentation of consumers.
