About the position

The Sr. Operations Business Analyst at Teladoc Health is responsible for providing actionable decision support related to clinical operational programs. This role involves manipulating and analyzing data using tools like Tableau and MySQL to identify operational and financial risks and opportunities, ultimately supporting the organization's business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Generate dashboards and reports for management showing key metrics for resource utilization and provider performance evaluation.
  • Lead analysis efforts to investigate business issues and risks using quantitative tools and modeling techniques, communicating recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Analyze data to make it actionable, including recommendations for process improvement.
  • Design and develop methods to consolidate and analyze diverse big data sources for actionable insights.
  • Trend, track, and monitor product KPI metrics, escalating deviations as appropriate.
  • Provide peer leadership within a high-performing team to deliver quality reporting and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to meet organizational and division goals with a high degree of independence.
  • Provide short- and long-term forecasts for various services offered by Teladoc.
  • Analyze and act on Teladoc generated forecasts.
  • Build successful interpersonal relationships with business partners and leadership across the organization.

Requirements

  • Proficient in creating dashboards using data visualization software (Tableau).
  • Proficient in Excel.
  • 5-8 years of data analysis experience in a healthcare setting addressing staffing/scheduling requirements.
  • Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
  • 6-8 years' experience in call center operations or similar work environment or experience with time series forecasting.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with SQL is preferred.
  • Work-related experience with Python is preferred.
  • Quantitative analysis and computational skills, problem resolution, and risk management skills.
