About the position

The Senior Operations Business Analyst at QVC will lead the analysis of complex, enterprise-level issues, collaborating with senior and executive leadership. This role focuses on optimizing business processes through data analysis, machine learning algorithms, and the creation of predictive reports to enhance supply chain and operations efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead the analysis of unique, enterprise-level issues requiring evaluation of intangibles and variables.
• Determine methods and procedures for new or special assignments in partnership with senior and executive leadership.
• Create formal networks involving coordination among groups inside and outside the organization.
• Guide business optimization using machine learning algorithms in Supply Chain/Operations to improve forecasting processes and inventory placement.
• Analyze complex business problems involving multiple systems, new technologies, revenue, and risk.
• Create predictive and prescriptive reports to guide improvements on an hourly, daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
• Design tools to analyze historical data and market trends using data structures.
• Automate the generation of critical business reports for financial transactions, inventory management, and fulfillment center capacity forecasting.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as an analyst in business analysis, supply chain, or operations.
• 3+ years of advanced skills in SQL and data modeling.
• 1+ years of experience with scripting languages such as Python.
• Bachelor's or University Degree or equivalent work experience.
