About the position

WPS Health Solutions is seeking a Senior OnBase Systems Administrator to join our team in a remote capacity. As a leading not-for-profit health insurer and federal government contractor, WPS has been dedicated to making healthcare easier for over 75 years. In this role, you will be part of a team that functions as application owners, supporting Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) solutions from end to end. Your responsibilities will include assisting or leading installations and upgrades, researching security resolutions, and resolving customer incident reports while investigating proactive solutions to enhance system performance. In this position, effective communication skills are essential. You will need to interact professionally with staff, management, vendors, and other stakeholders, explaining technical subject matter to non-technical audiences. You will also play an active role in evolving the financial systems team, collaborating with senior team members and other IT teams to assess current processes and identify potential system enhancements. The ideal candidate will be flexible, organized, and able to manage their work effectively while building relationships and trust within the team. This role offers the opportunity to work in a thriving Agile SCRUM environment, supporting highly visible solutions that meet the growing demands of the business. You will gain experience working on complex OnBase enterprise platforms and will be driven to provide in-depth root cause analysis, design, and support for departmental systems. Additionally, you will be contributing to an organization that serves military personnel, veterans, and Medicare beneficiaries, making a meaningful impact in the community.

Responsibilities

  • Assist or lead installations and upgrades of OnBase systems.
  • Research security resolutions and resolve customer incident reports.
  • Investigate proactive solutions to enhance system performance.
  • Communicate effectively with staff, management, vendors, and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with senior team members and other IT teams to assess current processes.
  • Identify potential system enhancements to improve customer use of financial data.
  • Work independently with general supervision.

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship is required due to Department of Defense restrictions.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent post high school and/or related work experience.
  • 3 or more years of related work experience as an OnBase administrator or in a similar position.

Nice-to-haves

  • Proficient in writing SQL Statements in a relational database.
  • Knowledge of report creation using Business Intelligence (BI) or other reporting tools.
  • Hyland OnBase Certified System Administrator (OCSA) certification.
  • Hyland OnBase Certified Workflow Administrator (OCWA) certification.
