The position involves overseeing the daily operations of a nursing unit or department. The individual will manage nursing staff, focusing on their development, mentoring, and coaching. It is essential to ensure adherence to hospital policies, procedures, and standards of care. Responsibilities include recruiting, hiring, and onboarding nursing staff, as well as creating and monitoring schedules to ensure adequate coverage.
