About the position
We are seeking a Senior Media Buyer who is skilled in bringing creative media ideas to life. This role requires an analytical thinker with a passion for learning and supporting a team across various media channels, including traditional television and strategic partnerships. The ideal candidate should be a big idea thinker who thrives in collaborative environments. The main responsibilities of this position include assisting with the development, implementation, and management of media buys, ensuring accurate and efficient execution, and achieving campaign objectives for clients.
Responsibilities
- Helps with campaign development, stewardship, optimization, and reporting within various platforms (Strata)
- Builds relationships and maintains ongoing communications with media representatives
- Negotiates the best possible rates, placements, and added value across managed service and PMP placements
- Acts as the integral activation lead in key client communication
- Designs optimal buys in terms of cost efficiency, goal delivery, and vendor agreements
- Updates Supervisor on the status of current accounts and elevates any issues in a timely manner
- Assists with campaign tracking set-up and implementation before the launch of a campaign
- Provides support in the creation of reporting dashboards and helps develop reporting insights
- Facilitates media reconciliation in collaboration with finance team members to process vendor invoicing
- Tracks spend against approved budgets
- Ensures strict adherence to client budgets while meeting client objectives
- Stays current on all media trends and opportunities in the industry
- Other duties/responsibilities may be assigned from time to time
Requirements
- 3+ years of Media Buying experience
- Strong organizational and mathematical skills
- Ability to multi-task and deliver work on-time for set deadlines
