About the position

The Senior Marketing Manager at Genentech plays a crucial role in delivering the Lymphoma Marketing Vision by developing and executing marketing strategies that enhance customer engagement and drive patient outcomes. This position requires collaboration across various teams and external partners to create integrated customer experiences and optimize marketing campaigns.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and execution of the Lymphoma team's value proposition and customer positioning.
  • Leverage customer insights, including journeys and personas, to inform the product's value proposition.
  • Identify key internal and external partners to align with the marketing strategy and critical KPIs.
  • Execute seamless marketing campaigns across multiple platforms and channels.
  • Optimize marketing content for target customers, including messaging and channel mix.
  • Create personal promotional messages for field-based channels in coordination with non-personal messages.
  • Partner with agencies and the Promotional Review Committee to ensure compliant promotional tactics.
  • Measure marketing performance through various indicators to optimize campaigns and drive outcomes.
  • Contribute to initiatives with broader organizational impact across the marketing function.
  • Lead or participate in flexibly deployed work teams, contributing novel ideas based on expertise.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or an Advanced Degree with relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years work experience, with at least 3 years in a marketing role.
  • Strong customer understanding, including developing personas and customer journeys.
  • Ability to articulate business needs and strategies to engage stakeholders.
  • Experience in managing agency partners and navigating the PRC process.
  • Direct experience with interpreting market and customer data and applying metrics for success.

Nice-to-haves

  • MBA or related graduate degree preferred.
  • Marketing experience in relevant industries, particularly in managed care, pharmaceutical, or biotech.
  • Experience in creating marketing strategies that strengthen market positioning.
