About the position

The Senior Manager of Revenue Management at Royal Caribbean Group is responsible for developing and executing strategies to optimize revenue and maximize profitability across multiple product portfolios. This role involves collaboration with various departments to evaluate promotions, ensure inventory utilization, and explore new business opportunities. The position requires significant decision-making authority and serves as a liaison for key internal departments, focusing on commercial channels and driving strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to maximize ticket revenues and inventory utilization.
  • Determine pricing throughout the deployment cycle and negotiate large group contracts and charters.
  • Serve as the primary contact with senior management and operational departments to implement strategic plans.
  • Develop and manage programs that guide revenue managers and analysts to achieve revenue forecasts.
  • Coordinate promotions and initiatives to drive volume through cost-effective distribution channels.
  • Ensure compliance with antitrust and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.
  • Manage pricing in multiple currencies and develop international sourcing goals.
  • Generate, monitor, and adjust revenue forecasts for product portfolios supporting quarterly guidance.
  • Hire, train, and develop a team of Pricing Managers and Analysts in pricing principles.
  • Contribute to technology programs that generate revenue and transform business management.
  • Establish metrics and measurement tools to enhance yield management activities.
  • Represent Revenue Management at Corporate Industry and Trade conferences.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline required.
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) or Master's degree strongly preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in revenue management or business analysis required.
  • Deep knowledge of revenue management concepts and tools preferred.
  • Previous experience with Revenue Management required.
  • Demonstrated experience in project management.
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Access, PowerPoint, and Advanced Excel.

  • Experience in implementing system enhancements and decision-making tools preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills for presentations and position papers.
  • General business skills including leadership, sales and marketing knowledge, and financial skills.
