About the position

Baker Tilly is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Manager to lead our Primary Disclosure Group within the Municipal Advisory consulting team. The successful candidate will oversee a team of approximately 10 professionals and ensure the highest standards of accuracy, compliance, and transparency in our public finance disclosures.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the Primary Disclosure Group, providing strategic direction and oversight to a team of approximately 10 professionals.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, rules and guidelines pertaining to municipal disclosure.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain the integrity and accuracy of disclosure documents.
  • Oversee the preparation and review of official statements, continuing disclosure reports, and other public finance documents.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure all disclosures meet regulatory requirements.
  • Provide training and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and changes in regulations and common practices related to municipal finance and disclosure documents.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for principals, directors and staff internally, and other stakeholders on disclosure-related matters.
  • Conduct regular reviews and assessments of disclosure practices to identify areas for improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Public Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in public finance, with a strong focus on municipal disclosure.
  • Proven leadership experience, with the ability to manage and develop a high-performing team.
  • In-depth knowledge of municipal securities regulations, including SEC and MSRB rules.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and compliance.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Will be required to sit for and pass the Series 50 and Series 54 exams.

Benefits

  • The compensation range for this role is $179,850 to $389,680. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
