Senior Manager, Partnerships

The Farmer's DogNew York, NY
$185,000 - $190,000Onsite

About The Position

The Senior Manager, Partnerships will own The Farmer’s Dog’s most strategic brand partnership end-to-end. You will go deep on a single high-impact partnership, building an annual activation calendar, executing integrated campaigns, and driving measurable customer acquisition and brand affinity outcomes. Reporting into the Director of Influencer & Partnership Marketing, you will serve as the internal and external face of this partnership, working cross functionally with several teams to ensure every touchpoint is executed with excellence and tied to business results.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in partnerships, brand marketing, or integrated marketing, with a track record of owning complex, high-visibility relationships.
  • Managed a single high-value partnership or sponsorship from strategy through execution — you know what it takes to make a big relationship work across a full year of activations.
  • Think strategically about how a partnership ladders up to brand and acquisition goals, and can translate that thinking into a clear, well-sequenced annual plan.
  • Comfortable in a creative briefing as well as a budget review — you bridge the gap between vision and execution without losing either.
  • Build relationships that don’t feel transactional; partners trust you because you’re genuinely invested in shared success.
  • Operate with autonomy and bring others along — you know when to move fast and when to align, and you do both well.
  • Communicate with clarity and confidence at every level, from day-to-day partner contacts to executive stakeholders, and can change minds in sensitive situations without damaging the relationship.
  • Analytical enough to know what’s working and honest enough to say when it isn’t.
  • Love dogs.

Responsibilities

  • Own the full lifecycle of a strategic brand partnership, from annual planning and budget stewardship to activation execution and performance reporting.
  • Develop and maintain the partnership activation calendar, orchestrating campaigns, events, content, and media placements that drive acquisition and brand affinity throughout the year.
  • Serve as the primary relationship owner for the partner, building deep, trust-based connections with senior counterparts and ensuring alignment on shared goals.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with the Brand & Creative, and Legal teams to deliver activations on time, on brand, and on budget.
  • Define success metrics for the partnership, track performance rigorously, and deliver clear-eyed reporting to senior leadership on ROI and business impact.
  • Identify opportunities to expand the partnership’s scope, such as new activation formats, audiences, or channels, and build the internal case to pursue them.
  • Negotiate and manage all relevant contracts and commercial terms, ensuring TFD’s interests are protected and the relationship is structured for long-term value.
  • Establish repeatable playbooks and frameworks for how TFD executes large-scale brand partnerships, raising the bar for how the organization approaches this type of work.
