About the position

The Senior Manager, IT Audit is responsible for defining and managing the audit universe, plans, coverage, and strategy, with a focus on cybersecurity and infrastructure controls. This role ensures that audit activities align with regulatory standards and internal policies, contributing to the achievement of departmental goals and the execution of key initiatives that support broader audit objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement audit plans focusing on cybersecurity and infrastructure controls.
  • Assess the cybersecurity risk landscape and prioritize audit activities based on risk.
  • Lead the evaluation of cybersecurity frameworks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct audits of IT infrastructure to evaluate security measures and operational efficiency.
  • Monitor and evaluate the remediation of identified cybersecurity issues and vulnerabilities.
  • Ensure audit activities comply with relevant regulations and provide recommendations for improvements.
  • Collaborate with IT, security, and infrastructure teams to assess control effectiveness and advise on improvements.
  • Prepare detailed audit reports on findings and provide insights to senior leadership.
  • Stay current on evolving cybersecurity threats and incorporate them into audit strategies.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of IT audit professionals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • Professional certifications such as CISA, CISM, CISSP, or CRISC.
  • 7+ years of experience in IT audit with a focus on cybersecurity and infrastructure.
  • Proven experience in managing audits related to cybersecurity frameworks and regulatory compliance.
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and cybersecurity technologies.
  • Extensive experience in planning and executing IT audits with a focus on risk identification.
  • Excellent communication skills for articulating complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
