About the position

The Senior Manager Infrastructure at Suntory Global Spirits is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing the management of global infrastructure operations. This position ensures the performance, reliability, resiliency, and scalability of the company's complex digital landscape, leading technical teams and managing offshore resources within a managed services framework.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees technical leads and manages offshore teams within a managed services framework.
  • Directs server compute, virtualization, database, and backup architecture decisions.
  • Contributes to Active Directory and cloud architecture decisions.
  • Responsible for on-premise compute and storage at manufacturing plants and regional offices.
  • Prepares cost estimates, budgets, and schedules for business as usual (BAU) and projects.
  • Evaluates and endorses new computing technologies, setting global standards.
  • Participates in the global disaster recovery and business continuity program, owning the compute towers to ensure infrastructure supports committed RTO/RPO.
  • Owns the compute infrastructure lifecycle processes and strategizes end-of-life hardware replacements across the enterprise.
  • Stays abreast of emerging technology trends, assessing and communicating their potential impact on IT capabilities.
  • Ensures outsourced IT operational services meet quality standards, overseeing server, storage, database, and backup operations.
  • Coordinates global infrastructure-related projects for assigned areas.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum 10 years of related work experience, including 3+ years in a management role within infrastructure operations.
  • Preferred certifications in Microsoft, Nutanix, Linux, and Cloud.
  • Extensive IT Infrastructure technical knowledge - Nutanix HCI, Lenovo Servers, VMWare, and QNAP Store solutions.
  • Experience with Infrastructure Managed Services.
  • Proven ability to support, design, and secure Active Directory components (ADUC, DNS, DHCP, DFS, GPO, IAS/NPS, Sites and Services, and ADFS).
  • In-depth knowledge of server operating systems (Windows, Unix/Linux), virtualization technologies, both on-premises and cloud-based.
  • Experience overseeing infrastructure that supports a global and remote workforce.
  • Familiarity with SQL, Oracle, and MySQL database platforms.
  • Knowledge of Azure and GCP administration, experience with hybrid environments, SaaS, and cloud migrations.
