Pratt & Whitney is seeking a qualified Fleet Readiness Manager to lead execution of Performance Based Logistics (PBL) within the F135 Program Office, ensuring the availability of the Propulsion System for the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter. The primary responsibility of this position is to integrate the aftermarket elements of Logistics Program Management (LPM) for implementation of the Military Engines procedure for Fleet Readiness Excellence to: (1) Collect and Trend Fleet Data; (2) Analyze the Data and Forecast Demand; (3) Develop the Readiness Plan; (4) Communicate and Confirm the Plan; and (5) Execute the Plan.

  • Review Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to identify top degraders to Propulsion System readiness
  • Integrate Engineering & Logistics disciplines within the Supportability IPT (SuIPT) & Customer Service IPT (CSIPT) to develop root cause corrective action, to publish Engineering Change proposals (ECPS) of Retrofit Plans, and to implement Time Compliant Technical Directives (TCTDs) or Service Bulletins (SBs)
  • Project manage routine, emerging issue, and critical safety campaign implementation for Engineering Changes (ECs), Major Variance Requests (MVRs), Stop Delivery Orders (SDOs), Quality Notifications (QNs), and Time Compliant Technical Directives (TCTDs)
  • Integrate execution of plans with F135 Asset Management for unit level, depot level and deployed material
  • Execute Product Support Analysis and Health Reporting, Enact the Agile Operating System, and Engage cross-functionality to sustain F135 Fleet Readiness about 94%.
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 10 years of Project, Manufacturing or Service Engineering experience, or an Advance degree with 7 years of Project, Manufacturing or Service Engineering experience
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. ( US DoD Secret clearance.)
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
  • Applied Knowledge of F-35/F135 Sustainment Concept of Operations (CONOPs).
  • Proficiency with Product Support Analysis (PSA), Integrated Logistics Support (ILS), Technical Publications, Teamcenter and Enterprise/Material Resource Planning (ERP/MRP)
