As a Senior Manager, this role leads and oversees Chile Insurance Systems in International Banking, ensuring business strategies, plans, and initiatives are executed/delivered in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies, and procedures. This role serves as a key leader within the organization, influencing both technology and business leadership teams to align delivery strategies with enterprise goals. It acts as a trusted advisor in shaping the agile transformation journey and driving strategic outcomes across International Banking Technology. The role involves leading the end-to-end delivery of large-scale, complex, and high-impact technology initiatives using Agile and DevOps practices, ensuring timely, high-quality, and cost-effective delivery that supports business priorities and enhances customer experience. It also involves building and sustaining high-performing, cross-functional teams by fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement, promoting agile values and servant leadership to empower teams and remove delivery impediments. Establishing strong, collaborative relationships with business, technology, and control function stakeholders is crucial, ensuring alignment on priorities, maintaining transparency, and facilitating effective communication across all levels of the organization. The role oversees the planning, execution, and governance of the technology delivery portfolio, ensuring initiatives are prioritized, resourced, and tracked effectively, with clear visibility into progress, risks, and outcomes. It leads and oversees the Agile delivery team responsible for enabling product development across multiple squads, ensuring Agile ceremonies are effectively facilitated, sprint planning and backlog refinement are strategically aligned with business priorities, and teams consistently deliver incremental value. The role acts as a coach and escalation point for other Delivery Managers, Scrum Masters, and Product Owners, driving continuous improvement in agile maturity, delivery velocity, and cross-team coordination. Coordination of deployment planning, operational readiness, and compliance activities in collaboration with engineering, security, and release management teams is also a key responsibility, ensuring smooth transitions from development to production. Identifying opportunities to improve delivery processes, engineering practices, and team operations, and driving innovation and efficiency through automation, standardization, and continuous feedback loops are essential. The role provides strategic oversight of risk and compliance across the Software Delivery Life Cycle (SDLC), ensuring all delivery activities adhere to regulatory, operational, and security standards. It proactively identifies, assesses, and mitigates delivery risks, while fostering a culture of accountability and risk awareness within the delivery teams. Active engagement with key stakeholders—including Risk, Legal, Audit, and Security—is required to ensure early involvement, alignment, and traceability of controls throughout the delivery process. Strategic management of team capacity and resource allocation is necessary to ensure alignment with project budgets, delivery timelines, and evolving business priorities. Monitoring and reporting on delivery performance, financial health, and value realization, ensuring transparency and accountability across initiatives, and partnering with finance and portfolio teams to optimize investment decisions and support data-driven planning are also key functions. Championing a customer-first mindset across delivery teams, leveraging institutional knowledge and systems to enhance client relationships and deliver meaningful business value is expected.
