About The Position

Kemper is seeking a Senior Major Loss Auto Claims Manager to oversee and directly manage Claims Adjusters. This role involves the direct management of claims for the state of California, providing technical expertise, staff development, and guidance on California claims handling practices and procedures, including necessary training.

Requirements

• College degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ plus years of experience handling casualty claims.
• Experience in evaluation, negotiation, and settlement of bodily injury claims.
• Experience with complex coverage, liability, and damages.
• Prior Lead or Supervisory experience.
• Must have experience handling claims in California.
• Must have claim related computer systems experience.

Nice To Haves

• Non-standard auto experience preferred.
• CPCU/AIC is desirable, but not required.
• Guidewire experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and have direct management of Claims Adjusters.
• Direct management of claims for the state of California.
