About the position
The Sales position at The Waterford at Shavano Park involves supporting the Executive Director in increasing occupancy and revenue for the community. The role focuses on achieving sales objectives, developing marketing plans, and ensuring a smooth transition for prospective residents into the community. This position is crucial for maintaining a waiting list and responding effectively to lead inquiries.
Responsibilities
- Supports Executive Director to increase occupancy and meet budgeted occupancy and revenue.
- Keeps updated about relevant operational, competitive analysis data, and company information to respond effectively to lead inquiries.
- Achieves Community sales objectives and move-in goals as identified by the Executive Director and the Regional Director of Sales.
- Achieves annual budgeted census and per diem targets.
- Develops and implements marketing plans for the Community, refined quarterly for review by the Regional Director of Sales/Marketing.
- Advises solutions that match prospective Residents' needs, overcoming objections by demonstrating benefits and negotiating mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Works with appropriate Community Managers to finalize residency contracts, ensuring a smooth transition for Residents from the sales process through the move-in process.
Requirements
- A minimum of three to five years of sales experience with a record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales performance goals.
- High school diploma required; college credits or degree preferred or satisfy state experience requirements.
