Senior Legal Counsel

About the position

Schneider Electric is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel with a minimum of five years' experience in commercial contracting. This role will support a variety of Schneider Electric business units and requires experience in drafting, analyzing, and negotiating complex agreements. As part of this role, you will be part of Schneider Electric's North American Legal team, providing legal expertise and support to various business units.

Responsibilities

• Drafting, analyzing, and negotiating complex equipment, software, and services contracts
• Providing legal advice and counsel to internal clients
• Negotiating agreements with customers and internal stakeholders
• Developing and implementing contracting best practices and templates
• Providing training to business clients as needed

Requirements

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
• Bar admission in at least one state
• At least five years of experience in commercial contracting
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment
• Strong attention to detail and integrity
