About the position

The Senior Learning & Talent Development Business Partner for Data & Analytics at Hormel Foods Corporation is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering learning programs that enhance the use of technology and analytical tools for business decision-making. This role focuses on creating scalable learning solutions across the enterprise, managing the Data & Analytics Rotational and internship programs, and fostering collaborative partnerships to meet organizational talent needs.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop new learning programs related to analytics and data analysis tools.
  • Deliver engaging learning sessions to various functional domains, both in-person and virtually.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify learning needs and develop learning objectives.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of learning programs and make necessary adjustments based on feedback and performance metrics.
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to trainees, including mentorship and troubleshooting.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends in analytics and incorporate them into training materials.
  • Champion initiatives that promote Hormel's cultural beliefs and a productive, inclusive culture.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer or data science, business, business analytics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing and implementing effective learning programs in a corporate setting.
  • Demonstrated success in utilizing analytics and statistical techniques to derive insights from data.
  • Experience with data languages or tools such as SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Power BI.
  • Experience in creating blended learning solutions, including e-learning and instructor-led training.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Adaptability and a forward-thinking approach to learning and talent development.
  • Experience in influencing and gaining commitment from senior leadership.
