About the position

The Senior Learning Business Consultant at WEX, Inc. plays a crucial role in enhancing the learning function and change management initiatives within the Fraud and Compliance Department. This position is focused on creating impactful learning experiences tailored to the needs of employees, fostering a culture of continuous learning, and supporting business processes. The consultant will work closely with business leadership to implement effective learning strategies and manage onboarding processes, all while contributing to a fun and innovative team culture.

Responsibilities

• Identify and implement learning strategies for the business
• Lead the design, development, and delivery of learner-centered, high-impact learning experiences
• Create engaging learning experiences, content, and visuals that simplify complex skills
• Measure the success of learning practices and identify areas for continuous improvement
• Assist business leadership in defining, developing, and implementing new business processes
• Develop and maintain knowledge management initiatives to support the business
• Manage the onboarding process for newly hired employees
• Perform quality reviews and support quality management efforts

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Education or equivalent
• 5 to 10 years of experience in a business consulting-type environment
• 3 years in financial/payment services industry or equivalent experience
• Experience in Financial Crimes including Fraud Operations
• Knowledge of card processing, payment fraud prevention/detection techniques, online fraud management
• Demonstrated excellent collaboration and consulting skills
• Flexibility in adapting to change or redirection
• Curiosity and a desire to innovate in learning methods
• Knowledge of various adult learning concepts and methodologies
• Experience with instructional design, curriculum development, and knowledge management
• Excellent project management skills
• Strong analytical skills such as systems thinking, problem solving, and decision making
