About the position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Commercial Banking Relationship Manager to join the Emerging Middle Market team, focusing on the PA and DE markets. This role involves managing complex client relationships, providing strategic advice, and leading the development of tailored financial solutions for clients with revenues between $25 million and $100 million.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, retain, and grow complex to highly complex client relationships through effective relationship management.
  • Act as an advisor to senior leadership for structuring and renewing complex cash flow and real estate loans.
  • Lead strategy and resolution for a full suite of complex solutions offered to commercial clients.
  • Provide vision and expertise to senior leadership on implementing innovative business solutions within the Commercial Banking Relationship Management group.
  • Engage with all levels across the enterprise to improve processes and resolve client issues while achieving business objectives.
  • Drive relationship planning activities to maintain sales and pipeline disciplines.
  • Support Business Development Representatives in sourcing new Commercial Banking clients through existing networks.
  • Partner with Commercial Lending Product Management to provide insights on client and market needs.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of Commercial Banking Relationship Management experience or equivalent work experience, training, military experience, or education.

Nice-to-haves

  • Commercial account relationship management experience
  • Comprehensive knowledge of core banking products: deposits, commercial credit, and treasury
  • Strong credit acumen
  • Experience with moderately complex credit and debt structure
  • Experience in negotiating interest rates, price, terms, and collateral requirements
  • Sales pipeline management experience
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Risk Management
  • Experience in delivering strong sales performance and new business development
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Effective time management and organization skills
  • Self-starter who takes initiative and works independently
  • Ability to build and maintain solid working relationships with internal partners.
