About the position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Commercial Banking Relationship Manager to join the Emerging Middle Market team, focusing on the PA and DE markets. This role involves developing, retaining, and growing complex client relationships, providing strategic advice, and leading the structuring of financial solutions for clients with revenues between $25MM to $100MM. The position requires a deep understanding of client needs and the ability to engage with various stakeholders to deliver tailored banking solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, retain, and grow complex to highly complex client relationships through effective relationship management.
  • Act as an advisor to senior leadership for structuring, modifying, and renewing complex cash flow and real estate loans.
  • Lead strategy and resolution for a full suite of complex solutions offered to commercial clients.
  • Provide vision and expertise to senior leadership on implementing innovative business solutions within the Commercial Banking Relationship Management group.
  • Engage with all levels across the enterprise to improve processes and resolve client issues while achieving business objectives.
  • Drive relationship planning activities to maintain sales and pipeline disciplines.
  • Support Business Development Representatives in sourcing new Commercial Banking clients.
  • Partner with Commercial Lending Product Management to provide insights on client and market needs.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of Commercial Banking Relationship Management experience or equivalent.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of core banking products: deposits, commercial credit, and treasury.
  • Strong credit acumen and experience with moderately complex credit and debt structures.
  • Experience in negotiating interest rates, price, terms, and collateral requirements.
  • Sales pipeline management experience and a track record of strong sales performance.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.
  • Self-starter who works independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to build and maintain solid working relationships with internal partners.

Nice-to-haves

  • Commercial account relationship management experience.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Risk Management.
