About the position

The Java Developer position is a temporary contractor role based in Atlanta, Georgia, focused on web application development. The role requires extensive experience in Java programming and web technologies, with a strong emphasis on designing and implementing applications using various frameworks and tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, test, and deploy J2EE based applications.
• Develop web applications using Java programming language.
• Implement web applications using J2EE, Spring, Spring MVC, Flex, Hibernate, EJB 3.0, Struts, and Oracle 10g.
• Work with industry-leading container/application server environments such as Websphere, Weblogic, and JBoss.

Requirements

• 7 years of web development experience, including programming and development of web applications.
• 7 years of experience working with the Java programming language.
• 7 years of experience in designing and implementing web applications using J2EE, Spring, Spring MVC, Flex, Hibernate, EJB 3.0, Struts, and Oracle 10g.
• Bachelor's Degree in computer science or a related area from an accredited college or university.
