About the position

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for overseeing multiple medium to large projects with moderate to high complexity, ensuring they are completed from concept to completion. This role acts as a single point of accountability, utilizing SERVPRO Project Controls and Standards to meet project objectives while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships through proactive communication and risk management.

Responsibilities

  • Author/facilitate strategic documents such as project charters, communication plans, detailed project plans, and project updates to business owners.
  • Organize project activities into manageable work efforts for team members, determining effective approaches to complete the work as outlined in the project plan.
  • Manage vendor relations by assessing supplier needs for the project and setting objectives for cost, delivery schedules, and reliability.
  • Coordinate Development, Quality Assurance, and Technology resources as required to ensure successful project deliverables.
  • Manage and communicate a clear project scope, motivating team members to achieve agreed-upon tasks/objectives.
  • Proactively identify and manage risks, issues, and cross-project dependencies.
  • Identify, prepare, and ensure completion of high-quality, professional deliverables as required by each project plan.
  • Create, manage, and monitor the project budget by collaborating with stakeholders to establish budgetary constraints, track expenses, and adjust as needed to ensure the project stays within budget.
  • Schedule and facilitate weekly project status meetings with the core project team.
  • Manage and cultivate relationships with multiple business owners and team members to accomplish project activities.
  • Communicate difficult/sensitive information to project participants in a tactful and timely fashion.
  • Provide clear and direct communications with others, both verbally and in written form.
  • Demonstrate expertise by providing sound, creative Project Management approaches and thorough knowledge of technical business systems.
  • Exhibit a passion for standardization and continuous improvement efforts by optimizing processes and fostering a culture of consistency and excellence across all projects.
  • Work in collaboration with the EPMO to ensure agreed-upon standards and practices are utilized/implemented across the organization.

Requirements

  • Minimum eight years of experience leading medium to large technical integration projects or small programs consisting of small to medium size projects required.
  • In-depth understanding of Project Management approaches, methodologies, and their application required.
  • Experience with Agile (Scrum) and Waterfall project methodologies required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (including Excel, Word, Visio, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint) required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business or equivalent experience in a Business-related field is preferred.
