Westland Insurance Group is growing and has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Insurance Advisor at our King George Hub in Surrey location. This is an onsite role. The expected hourly hiring range for this role is 26.60 to 33.25 with a 35-hour work week. Your rate of pay will be determined based on your individual qualifications and experience, while considering internal equity. Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years of insurance industry experience.
- Level 2 License.
- Progress toward your CAIB and/or CIP designation (financial support provided!).
- Strong technical knowledge and confidence handling more complex client needs, with the ability to provide tailored coverage recommendations.
- A proven ability to build lasting client relationships, deliver exceptional service, and identify opportunities to grow and retain business.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail, allowing you to effectively manage competing priorities while maintaining accuracy.
- A collaborative mindset with a passion for sharing knowledge, mentoring others, and contributing to team success.
- Professional, solutions-focused, and an effective communicator who demonstrates sound judgment and integrity in every client interaction.
Responsibilities
- Promote and educate clients on a wide range of insurance products.
- Take ownership of client relationships.
- Help grow our presence and profile in the local community.
- Serve as a senior resource within the branch, managing more complex insurance cases.
- Support the development of team members.
- Deliver exceptional client service while representing Westland Insurance professionally across phone, email, and in-person interactions.
- Assess client needs and provide knowledgeable recommendations across personal lines to ensure the right coverage and protection.
- Manage new business, renewals, underwriting, and policy changes while handling more complex insurance cases with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Build lasting client relationships by providing proactive support throughout the customer journey, including renewals, claims assistance, and follow-up communication.
- Contribute to business growth by identifying sales opportunities in addition to cross-selling and up-selling products.
- Support branch success by collaborating with team members, mentoring peers, and assisting with training, reporting, and day-to-day operations as needed.
