About the position
As an SAP consultant, you will manage the order management (SAP-SD) area and advise the business departments on all IT matters based on the defined target architecture as part of projects. You will strengthen the SAP SD team for our international SAP S/4HANA transformation project. You will conceive, design and implement business solutions in the area of SCM (focus on SD) considering our governance model. You carry out the customization of the application, the functional tests, plus support with integration tests or user acceptance tests. The creation of IT concepts as input for our development team is also part of your task. You advise and support the selection of suitable applications. Together with your colleagues, you will provide holistic support for our SAP logistics applications, add-ons and interfaces to subsystems. You will work closely with our internal colleagues in an international environment. You will work at a maximum of 20% as part of Level 2 and 3 support.
Responsibilities

- Provide holistic support for SAP logistics applications, add-ons, and interfaces to subsystems.

- Participate in Level 2 and 3 support (maximum of 20%).
Requirements
- Degree in computer science, industrial engineering, business administration or a comparable field of study.
- Good professional experience as a consultant in the SAP logistics environment with a focus on SAP SD, ideally in the S/4 environment.
- In-depth SAP knowledge in Sales & Distribution (SD) and cross-module integration in logistics.
- End-to-end process knowledge, e.g., quote to cash.
- Practical experience in the conception and implementation of business processes in SAP ECC and S/4HANA.
- Experience working outside of India for international companies.
- Experience in introducing new processes or systems.
- Team player with a cross-functional and process-oriented mindset.
- Strong analytical skills combined with assertiveness.
- Strong customer and service orientation with diplomatic skills.
- Confident demeanor and independent way of working.
- Strong communication skills.
- Very good written and spoken English skills; knowledge of German is a benefit.
