About The Position
Operates and maintains building facilities systems and equipment, related to HVAC. Reads and interprets blue prints, drawings, schematics and written technical documents associated with HVAC systems in order to locate trouble areas and complete repairs accurately. Performs preventive maintenance, installation, repair, overhaul, disassembly, reassembly, and modifications to heating, ventilating, control, pneumatic electrical and electronic systems, and related equipment to insure proper safe and efficient operation. Experience preparing material takeoffs from blue prints. Maintains required record-keeping. Performs related responsibilities as required.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Graduation from an accredited HVAC technical school, or equivalent experience.
- Six years HVAC maintenance experience.
- Valid Georgia driver's license and insurable driving record.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and to bend, stoop and twist.
