About the position

The Workday Success Plans Team focuses on enhancing customer experiences post Go-Live by providing programs and services that drive business value from Workday applications. This role involves acting as a trusted advisor to customers, assisting them with configuration, troubleshooting, and demonstrating Workday features to maximize their investment in the software.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research to understand customer questions and related Workday concepts.
  • Deliver small scope consulting in response to customer requests, providing configuration guidance and demonstrations.
  • Troubleshoot product configuration to resolve issues and optimize product setup for customer needs.
  • Clearly communicate responses and value propositions to customers.
  • Create and deliver presentations on using Workday features to achieve business goals.
  • Provide one-on-one consulting guidance to accelerate customer feature adoption.
  • Review customer tenants to identify opportunities for feature adoption.
  • Maintain product expertise and Workday Certification(s) while staying updated on the Workday roadmap.
  • Drive the creation of new programs to enhance customer feature adoption.
  • Conduct appointment-based consulting engagements during Office Hours.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of functional experience in HCM in Workday or similar software (Non-Senior Level).
  • 3+ years of IT implementation experience (Non-Senior Level).
  • 1+ years of software consulting experience (Non-Senior Level).
  • 5+ years of functional experience in HCM in Workday (Senior Level).
  • 5+ years of IT implementation experience (Senior Level).
  • 2+ years of software consulting experience (Senior Level).
  • Workday certification required and preferred for the role.
  • Ability to understand Workday concepts as new features are released.
  • Ability to distill complex concepts into understandable presentations.
  • Strong multitasking skills to manage multiple engagements simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience required; advanced degree preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with customer enablement services.
  • Familiarity with industry practices related to HCM and IT implementation.
