Senior Front End Engineer (Angular, JavaScript)
About The Position
Fidelity Digital Assets® is developing a full-service enterprise-grade platform for storing, trading, and servicing digital assets, such as Bitcoin and Ethereum. The Core Custody team aims to design and build a suite of digital asset services and investment applications to serve the unique and varying needs of institutional investors. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills, collaborate across Fidelity teams, and continue to learn in a fun, collaborative, iterative, and rapidly changing environment. This is a hands-on role where you will write code for product features. You will work closely with the technical lead, business development, client services, and UX design teams to build intuitive and functional user interfaces. As a senior technical member of our team, you will guide junior engineers and help develop their technical skills.
Requirements
- Expert in Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, RxJS, HTML, and CSS/SCSS.
- Familiar with NgRx, Redux, or other state management patterns.
- Proficient in the use of Test Automation Tools and Frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress.
- Passionate about customer experience and good UX design.
- Experience working with REST APIs.
- Experience with automated CI/CD environments.
- A solid and strong foundation in software engineering.
- 5 years’ experience.
- Possess critical thinking skills to build end-to-end solutions.
- Passionate and committed to learning new things and developing with the latest technologies and frameworks.
- Works well in both a small agile team and independently, having a strong user focus.
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks at a given time.
Nice To Haves
- Basic understanding of core Java technologies.
- Preferred experience with AWS or other cloud platforms and containerization technologies such as Docker.
Responsibilities
- Write code for product features.

- Work with product management on requirements, decompose epics into stories, and deliver solutions that meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Build scalable, resilient, cloud-based systems aligned with our long-term strategy.
- Provide outstanding support, including on-call support when necessary.
- Participate in engineering practices such as code and design reviews, environment strategy, and build and deployment pipeline.
