About The Position

The Boeing Company is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst (Level 4) to join the Finance Analysis team in San Antonio, Texas. Requirements

  • Currently have a Bachelor’s degree or higher.
  • 5+ years of experience working with large data sets (e.g. advanced Excel, PowerPivot, Tableau and/or Microsoft Power BI).
  • 5+ years of experience with financial analysis, financial modeling, financial or resource forecasts, and/or assessment of associated risks and opportunities.
  • 5+ years of experience creating executive level presentations using Word, Power Point and Excel.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
  • A proactive and positive mindset with a passion for learning and problem-solving.
  • Ability to work independently when needed.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in using productivity tools and software.

  • Able to address technical issues within the team (go-to person) and use advanced MS Excel functionality as well as predictive analytics toolsets.
  • Experience using strong verbal and written communication skills both virtually and in person.
  • Adaptability to rapidly changing environments and ability to meet deliverables.

Responsibilities

  • The primary focal for San Antonio interfacing with executive leadership and the site CFO, providing insights and recommendations to support strategic business decisions.
  • Initiates assignments and integrates analysis for the site, functions and pools in areas such as resource forecasts and/or financial estimates for budgets, monthly performance, Opportunities and Risks (O&Rs), and quarterly forecasts.
  • Prepares financial reporting, leadership level presentations, and designs executive dashboards and metrics.
  • Partners with by leveraging relationships with program customers, Boeing Global Services – Government (BGS-G) facing functions and Financial Analysis Verticals to develop guidance and drive functional integration for compliant operations.
  • Leads process reviews and initiatives, understanding the impact of changes across the value stream and ensuring coordination, communicating the need for change to stakeholders and acts as a finance representative lead for cross-business/finance shared services engagements.
