Responsibilities

  • Understands and utilizes company adopted or formal business analytical tools, technologies and methodologies.
  • Supports or leads medium sized change management initiatives or projects.
  • Collaborates at a high level on all functional and cross-functional teams.
  • Manages the relationship with operational business owners, sponsors, and other key stakeholders.
  • Provides operational support to maintain subject matter expertise of current state business processes and systems.
  • Provides oversight and work direction to medium size teams (up to 5 people).
  • Provides guidance to business leaders and escalates issues where appropriate.

Requirements

  • BS in Accounting, Finance, Management Information Systems, Business Admin or related field.
  • 7-10 years of related experience and/or training.
  • 4-7 years project experience, or equivalent.
  • Understanding of intermediate to complex level difficulty of accounting practices and process including GAAP.
  • 5 years of analytical and project or change management experience, or equivalent.
  • Experience in implementing financial application packages and process changes.
  • Advanced presentation skills and the ability to express project technical concepts in non-technical, business terms.
  • Works independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proven facilitation and collaboration skills.
  • Basic demonstrated knowledge regarding formal project management training, business process analysis tools and best practices.
  • Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated change and conflict management skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience or certifications in PMI, PMBOK, business analytics, process design, business or process analysis.
