Introduction to role: Are you ready to lead campus-scale electrical reliability that keeps life-changing medicines moving? This role sits at the heart of our site’s performance, ensuring safe, resilient, and efficient power systems that enable our teams to deliver for patients every day. Your expertise will directly reduce downtime, elevate safety, and improve energy performance across a complex, highly regulated environment. You will partner closely with site teams to commission new systems, strengthen existing infrastructure, and embed robust standards that stand up to real-world demands. Can you turn data from thermography and power studies into decisive actions that prevent outages? Do you thrive when trusted to make smart calls under pressure and bring cross-functional stakeholders with you on the journey? Accountabilities: Electrical Reliability Leadership: Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to solve issues and complete preventive and predictive maintenance that improves uptime and reduces risk; own thermographic inspections, breaker testing, and grounding/bonding testing, with timely follow-up on actions. Commissioning and Qualification: Lead or support IQ/OQ and testing activities for new or modified electrical systems to ensure fit-for-purpose performance and compliance from day one. Compliance and Safe Work Practices: Develop and carry out safe electrical work practices, arc flash compliance, and LOTO procedures aligned with NFPA 70E, OSHA 1910/1926, and internal SHE policies; maintain complete records and documentation. Power Quality and Sustainability: Drive continuous improvement in energy usage, power quality, and sustainability initiatives; align all work with campus safety, health, environmental, and energy efficiency strategies. Engineering Governance: Maintain and update one-line diagrams, load studies, coordination and arc flash studies; review electrical components of construction and design documents to ensure reliability, maintainability, and compliance. Incident Response and Root Cause: Participate in or lead root cause investigations and corrective actions for electrical incidents or reliability issues; remain available 24/7 to coordinate or direct emergency electrical response. Project Planning and Risk Management: Develop clear scopes and deliverables with defined boundaries; apply systematic project planning and risk management to reduce exposure and optimize delivery; support capital projects through technical reviews and alignment to business needs.
