This role is crucial for Latent's next phase, focusing on in-person engagement through strategic events, including executive dinners, presence at major industry conferences like HIMSS and ViVE, and the creation of flagship events designed to establish industry leadership and generate pipeline.

Requirements

  • 7-10 years of experience in B2B events, field marketing, or experience design, ideally in healthcare or another regulated category.
  • Proven experience owning multi-event programs end to end.
  • Operational excellence, including managing run-of-show documents, vendor contracts, budgets, and follow-up sequences.
  • Comfort working directly with senior customers.
  • Ability to secure high-profile speakers (e.g., Chief Pharmacy Officer, CMIO) and curate event attendees.
  • Marketing mindset for events, including promotion, content capture, and post-event amplification.
  • Experience directing agencies and managing an in-house event function.
  • Knowledge of the healthcare event landscape (HIMSS, ViVE, Becker's, ASHP, AMCP, etc.).
  • Belief that brand and pipeline are integrated aspects of event strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Own the event strategy and calendar, deciding which conferences Latent attends and which to skip, tiering events by priority.
  • Determine which events Latent hosts, such as dinners, roundtables, summits, and flagship events.
  • Map every event to a specific buyer, moment, and outcome.
  • Maintain the master events calendar and ensure alignment across growth, sales, product marketing, and leadership.
  • Manage the event budget effectively, allocating spend to areas that drive results.
  • Direct Latent's presence at key healthcare events, including booth design, sponsorships, speaking slots, and attendee mix.
  • Partner with the Creative Lead to ensure all event materials and surfaces align with Latent's brand.
  • Design and execute bespoke dinners, roundtables, and customer/prospect gatherings.
  • Curate guest lists and select venues and formats for small-format events.
  • Build and manage flagship events, including customer summits and executive retreats, overseeing all aspects from venue to follow-up.
  • Secure customer speakers for industry events, panels, and Latent-hosted dinners.
  • Source external speakers and curate guest lists for Latent-hosted events.
  • Develop and execute pre-event, live-event, and post-event content strategies, including announcements, social media, and recaps.
  • Set conversion targets for events and coordinate surrounding marketing and sales efforts to generate pipeline.
  • Measure event performance against sourced and influenced pipeline.
  • Manage vendors, agencies, contracts, budgets, timelines, and on-site logistics.
  • Develop an event playbook to ensure consistent execution of high-quality events.
