About the position
The Senior Enterprise Technical Architect will lead the architecture and engineering direction for digital solutions within Cargill, focusing on high-level architecture, functionality, and compliance for regional and global projects. This role involves collaboration with global digital architects to design and create new features and components, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and business strategies to deliver unified customer experiences.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain product solution architecture and principles.
- Provide application architecture for all features and functions within the product portfolio.
- Foster collaborative partnerships with businesses to connect business goals and technology investments.
- Review new projects and architecture solutions for alignment with enterprise standards.
- Drive improvement of architecture methodologies and support implementation of architecture tools.
- Design testing methods and resolve technical issues, monitoring systems capacity and performance.
- Assist in resolving complex technical issues to ensure successful implementations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Well versed in modern engineering processes and practices.
- Minimum of six years of related work experience.
- Knowledge of translating business needs into solution architecture requirements.
Nice-to-haves
- Master's degree in information and communications technology.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience with diverse operations, development, and business roles.
