About the position

The Senior Engineering Lead will oversee and drive the first generation of solar/storage and EV portfolio product line in North America. This role involves managing a talented team across hardware, firmware, software, and validation to sustain existing technologies and empower product connectivity. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and have a strong interest in renewable energy systems.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the technical lead for the sustaining team across HW, FW, SW, compliance, validation, and field support.
  • Lead and support quality issues, technical questions, part obsolescence, and field service support from initiation to closure.
  • Coordinate across multiple disciplines to define scope and deliverables for product change requests (PCRs).
  • Provide technical guidance on planning and execution of new feature development and roadmap.
  • Lead urgent response analysis and root cause containment analysis for product-related issues.
  • Partner with HW and SW validation teams to develop regression, stress, and automated tests for quality assurance.
  • Conduct technical reviews and make Go/No Go decisions for product change requests (PCRs).
  • Define and develop strategies, best practices, processes, and tools for sustaining engineering.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of hands-on engineering experience, preferably in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience in product development.
  • Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills.
  • Proactive and decisive in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Multi-disciplinary experience across HW, Embedded Systems, FW, and Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience in dynamic, multi-time zone work environments.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work autonomously under pressure.
