About the position

The Senior Electrical Engineer will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and testing electrical systems and components for various sectors, including commercial, healthcare, industrial, and institutional. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and the ability to collaborate with a diverse team of professionals to deliver high-performance engineering solutions.

Responsibilities

• Designing, developing, and testing electrical systems and components such as lighting, power, fire alarm, security, and communication systems.
• Preparing and reviewing electrical drawings, specifications, calculations, and reports using AutoCAD, Revit, and other software tools.
• Coordinating with other engineers, architects, contractors, and vendors to ensure quality and timely project delivery.
• Conducting site visits, inspections, and commissioning activities as needed.
• Providing technical guidance, mentoring, and supervision to junior engineers and designers.
• Managing project budgets, schedules, and resources.
• Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• A Professional Engineer (PE) license in California or the ability to obtain one within 6 months.
• At least 10 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering, preferably in the consulting industry.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other engineering software tools.
• Knowledge of NEC, NFPA, IBC, and other applicable codes and standards.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
• A willingness to travel occasionally and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
