About the position

The Senior Director - Hitech Business Development at Infosys BPM is responsible for expanding the company's BPO outsourcing presence within a designated Hi-Tech account in the Bay Area. This role involves managing client relationships, developing business strategies, and ensuring the fulfillment of service commitments. The Senior Director will leverage existing contacts to drive growth and enhance the Infosys BPM brand, focusing on business development and account management.

Responsibilities

  • Build and execute an account plan for business development in the Hi-Tech sector.
  • Manage existing business and oversee the opportunity management cycle: Prospect-Evaluate-Propose-Close.
  • Ensure client delivery assurance by collaborating with delivery stakeholders to meet SLAs.
  • Provide client introductions and develop customer maps and organization charts to support the account plan.
  • Conduct competitor analysis and gather market intelligence relevant to the account.
  • Create and govern the account plan, including relationship management and pricing strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution; or three years of progressive experience in lieu of each year of education.
  • 14+ years of experience in business development, particularly in BPO outsourcing.
  • Proven ability to leverage existing contacts to expand business within Hi-Tech accounts.
  • Experience interacting with CXO level client contacts and understanding their needs.
  • Hands-on experience with proposal creation and leading presentations.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Track record of growing BPO outsourcing business within named Hi-Tech accounts.
  • Knowledge of Hi-Tech industry trends and specific business issues.
  • Experience with Global Delivery Models and managing international teams.
  • Previous experience as a Business Development Manager in a rapidly growing client relationship.
