About The Position

Ornua is seeking a Senior Director of Market Insights & Analytics to join their growing organization. This role will build and lead a high-performing team responsible for shaping market perception, driving growth, and informing decision-making through the translation of consumer, category, and performance data into strategic direction. The Senior Director will act as the enterprise hub for market intelligence, embedding analytics into brand strategy, innovation, planning, and commercial execution. This involves developing and leading a team to build next-generation measurement tools, modernize reporting, drive research programs, and lead forecasting and modeling for long-range strategy. The role requires a highly visible, hands-on leadership approach, partnering with senior executives to identify growth opportunities, refine strategic plans, and guide investment decisions. The ideal candidate will excel at translating complex insights for VP and C-suite stakeholders, driving cross-functional alignment, and fostering a culture of curiosity, analytical rigor, and data-driven decision-making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, data science or related field of study required.
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience across Insights, Analytics, Consumer Research, or Strategy in an FMCG company or agency.
  • Proven experience leading teams and developing talent at a manager/director level.
  • Significant hands-on expertise with syndicated data (Nielsen, IRI/Circana, SPINS), measurement frameworks, forecasting models, and qual/quant methodologies.
  • Strong ability to influence executive level decision makers and guide strategic discussions in a way that educates and informs.
  • Ability to lift insights into compelling stories, taking complex information and translating into clear, persuasive recommendations.
  • Experience implementing analytics transformation initiatives.
