About The Position

The Senior Director, Army Intelligence & INSCOM Account supporting the Defense & Intelligence Business Development Account Executive, is responsible for driving growth within assigned defense and intelligence accounts by building strong customer relationships, identifying new opportunities, and coordinating internal teams to win new mission aligned business. This role focuses on day-to-day account management, opportunity qualification, and support to capture and proposal activities for Army, INSCOM, Geographic Combatant Commands (GCC), Intelligence Community (IC), and allied/partner-nation customers. The ideal candidate brings deep mission understanding, exceptional relationship skills, and an aptitude for translating operational requirements into actionable business opportunities. The role is particularly aligned to intelligence, cyber/electronic warfare, integrated air and missile defense, and allied interoperability initiatives. This candidate will enjoy a hybrid work arrangement in Herndon or Chantilly Virginia.

Requirements

  • 20+ years of experience in defense, intelligence, or national security, ideally including direct interaction with operational or intelligence organizations.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage effectively with government customers and stakeholders at multiple levels.
  • Strong understanding of DoD/IC missions, organizational structures, and decision-making processes.
  • Experience supporting business development, account management, or capture activities (government or industry).
  • Strong communication skills, including preparation and delivery of briefings, readouts, and written summaries.
  • Proven ability to organize and manage multiple tasks, accounts, and opportunities simultaneously.
  • Bachelor’s degree in International Relations, Business, National Security, or a related field.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance (or ability to obtain and maintain).

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned accounts (e.g., Army, INSCOM, GCC, theater-level J2/J5 staffs, NATO organizations, and related IC elements).
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with government stakeholders, operational end users, and key influencers across the intelligence and defense enterprise.
  • Conduct regular customer engagements to understand mission priorities, operational challenges, and emerging requirements across intelligence, cyber/electronic warfare, and integrated air and missile defense.
  • Represent Parsons in customer forums, working groups, and industry engagements relevant to assigned accounts.
  • Support Parsons’ engagement across the European theater by leveraging relationships with EUCOM, NATO leadership, and Baltic state defense organizations involved in modernization and deterrence initiatives.
  • Provide an understanding of market analysis and account growth strategies by developing multi-year account plans, conducting competitive analysis, and identifying emerging market trends.
  • Monitor customer plans, budgets, and acquisition forecasts across Army, INSCOM, EUCOM, and NATO modernization initiatives to identify new and follow-on opportunities.
  • Identify opportunities aligned with key mission areas such as intelligence modernization, cyber and electronic warfare integration, and regional air and missile defense architectures.
  • Support early-stage shaping activities by gathering customer feedback, documenting operational requirements, and informing solution approaches that align with mission priorities.
  • Support Capture Managers on key pursuits by providing account intelligence, customer insights, and competitive context.
  • Assist in developing call plans, meeting objectives, and engagement strategies with senior defense and intelligence stakeholders.
  • Contribute to proposal development by drafting sections (e.g., past performance, management approaches, resumes) and coordinating inputs from internal stakeholders.
  • Participate in internal reviews and help respond to questions from customers during the evaluation process.
  • Support solution alignment between operational customer requirements and Parsons capabilities across intelligence, cyber, electronic warfare, and advanced sensing.
  • Identify and cultivate partnerships with technology innovators, system integrators, commercial leaders, and mission-focused R&D organizations to expand Parsons’ capabilities and reach.
  • Support Parsons’ positioning in emerging mission areas including NATO Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD), Baltic regional defense modernization, intelligence-cyber convergence, and degraded or denied environment operations.
  • Work closely with delivery/program managers to ensure high customer satisfaction and identify expansion opportunities on existing contracts.
  • Collaborate with functional leads (solutions, pricing, contracts, legal) to ensure alignment on opportunity strategy and risk.
  • Maintain accurate, timely records of customer engagements, pipeline status, forecasts, and internal reporting tools.
  • Provide regular account updates, briefings, and recommendations to senior BD and operations leadership.
