About The Position

The Senior Digital Learning Manager is responsible for leading the design, development, implementation, and continuous improvement of training solutions for technical field personnel across a global organization. This role partners closely with Subject Matter Experts, trainers, business leaders, and external partners to identify capability gaps, define learning strategies, and operationalize scalable training programs through regional learning centers and digital platforms. This leader will drive modern, high-impact learning experiences using adult learning principles, digital learning technologies, and innovative delivery methods such as virtual and blended learning. In addition, the role requires proven experience managing a data analytics and learning systems team to ensure learning technologies, reporting, metrics, and insights effectively support business goals and workforce capability development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, Learning Technologies, Organizational Development, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in training needs analysis, training design, and curriculum development within a learning design or corporate learning organization.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Ability and willingness to travel approximately 20% globally.

  • Strong knowledge and practical experience with digital learning methods, tools, and modern learning technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Lead global training strategy and execution for technical field personnel, ensuring alignment with business priorities and operational capability needs.
  • Facilitate and document Training Needs Analyses to identify skill gaps, target audience requirements, and competence development priorities.
  • Design and oversee the development of training curricula, learning pathways, and instructional materials grounded in adult learning theory and best practices in learning design.
  • Translate training concepts into deployable learning solutions and operationalize training modules across learning centers and digital learning environments.
  • Partner with professional trainers and Subject Matter Experts to create best-in-class learning experiences for field and site personnel.
  • Drive adoption of modern teaching technologies, including digital learning tools, virtual learning environments, simulation, and VR-based solutions where appropriate.
  • Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders, external partners, and regional teams to ensure learning solutions are relevant, scalable, and effective.
  • Lead and develop a data analytics and learning systems team responsible for learning platforms, reporting, dashboards, learner data governance, training effectiveness measurement, and performance insights.
  • Oversee learning systems and technology operations, ensuring efficient administration, adoption, data quality, and integration with broader talent and business systems.
  • Establish and track KPIs to measure training impact, learner engagement, completion, capability growth, and business value.
  • Apply financial understanding to evaluate cost-benefit and total cost perspectives for training programs, technologies, and delivery models.
  • Manage projects using an organized, agile approach with defined tollgates, milestones, and stakeholder reviews.
  • Act as a change agent to promote innovation, continuous improvement, and a strong learning culture across a global environment.
