Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust data models.
- Create and schedule ETL jobs.
- Automate processes using Python.
- Develop and optimize complex SQL queries.
- Design, build, and maintain efficient ETL pipelines.
- Utilize Python for automation, data transformation, and integration with various systems and data platforms.
- Manage incidents/requests using ServiceNow.
- Provide support and mentorship to other colleagues.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of hands-on experience in data modeling.
- Strong expertise in SQL Server (T-SQL, stored procedures, performance tuning).
- Extensive experience designing, building, and maintaining ETL processes using tools like SSIS or other ETL frameworks.
- Solid experience with Python for data manipulation, automation, and working with data processing libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, etc.
- Proficiency in data modeling tools like SSAS, or others for designing relational and dimensional data models.
- Strong understanding of database architecture, performance tuning, and optimization in SQL Server environments.
- Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into effective data solutions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to work in cross-functional teams and effectively collaborate with technical and business stakeholders.
