Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service in daily transactions and inquiries.
  • Refer customers to appropriate business partners for product and service needs.
  • Exercise independent judgment in daily office responsibilities.
  • Meet and exceed sales referral goals set by management.
  • Promote good customer relations with a friendly demeanor.
  • Maintain confidentiality of customer information.
  • Perform financial center opening and closing duties.
  • Manage cash withdrawals, check signing, and transaction approvals.
  • Oversee the teller line and balance ATMs and vaults.
  • Process credit card applications.
  • Initiate conversations with customers to uncover their needs.
  • Train and develop new and current Customer Service Representatives.
  • Monitor operations behind the Customer Service Representative line.
  • Act as the contact person for financial center personnel regarding Customer Service Representative activity.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year banking experience.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong leadership skills and excellent time management.
  • Problem-solving skills and sound judgment.
  • Ability to interact confidently with the public.
  • Strong working knowledge of banking retail policies and procedures.
  • Advanced math abilities.
  • Computer proficiency.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for most of the shift.
