About The Position
Sentara Health is hiring an experienced Sr. Phlebotomist - Clinical Lab Assistant to work full time days at the Sentara Greenbriar Healthplex in Chesapeake, VA and draw sites in Hampton Roads! May require travel to multiple sites. Travels to various facilities to perform patient phlebotomy, monitor staff and train staff; and reassign team when necessary for coverage. Collects, labels, and processes patient specimens for testing.
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Basic Life Support (AHA or RQI)
- Driver’s License
- 2 years of laboratory experience
- 2 years of phlebotomy experience
Responsibilities
- Travels to various facilities to perform patient phlebotomy
- Monitor staff and train staff
- Reassign team when necessary for coverage
- Collects, labels, and processes patient specimens for testing
